His brother Will may be the heir to the British throne, but Prince Harry is about to be Prince of the Penguins.

Harry, who’s embraced his career as a British military officer, will take part in Walking with the Wounded’s South Pole Allied Challenge. The 500-mile race will raise awareness for wounded servicemen. Harry will be a member of the British team Glenfiddich. They will compete with the American team Noom Coach, which includes “True Blood” star Alexander Skarsgard (who’s Swedish but whatever), and the Canadian/Australian team Soldier On, headlined by “The Wire” star Dominic West (who is… also British).

Each team will also include four wounded servicemen. They’ll pull sleds weighing more than 150 pounds, according to People magazine. No word on whether they’ll do so on their own or with the help of dogs. But why would anyone forego dogs when they are an option? I would like the subway so much more if it were pulled by dogs.

One thing’s for sure: This race will be a real nail biter. Never has so much international handsomeness been at risk of frostbite all at once.
